Primary School Survey – Ennis National School Results and Consultation Process
The Department of Education and Youth has recently provided Ennis National School with the results of the Primary School Survey.
The survey gathered the views of parents and guardians regarding aspects of primary school provision, including:
- Co-educational or single-sex provision
- School patronage/ethos
- Language of instruction (English or Irish)
The survey results for Ennis National School and the accompanying guidance document on how to interpret the results are available below.
The Board of Management is now commencing the consultation process outlined by the Department of Education and Youth.
At this stage, no decisions have been made. The purpose of the consultation process is to allow the Board of Management to consider the survey results together with feedback received from the school community before deciding whether any further action should be taken.

The Board of Management will consider all feedback received as part of its review process and will communicate the outcome of its deliberations to the school community in due course.
