Yayoi Kusama Dot Installation

Yayoi Kusama believes that everyone in the world is like a dot. She says that each person is small on their own, but when we come together, we create something amazing.

Inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s idea, all the children in our school worked together to create this dot installation. Each child placed one dot on the window and every dot represents one person in our school community. Alone, a dot is simple – but together, the dots fill the space with colour, light and meaning.

This artwork shows that we all belong, we are all different and every person matters.
