NEW GARDEN FOR ENNIS N.S.?
Our Biodiversity Group took the first step to create our school garden today. Katie brought “Forget-me-nots” from home to plant in the garden. Ger, our school Caretaker, provided us with blackcurrant and raspberry bushes.
Adam, Keira, Riham, Katie and Ethan were all on hand to help with digging, planting and watering tasks (Believe it or not, it’s actually exciting to find a fat earthworm in the soil while digging!)
Today was a great start and all participants of the Biodiversity group were delighted.
