Music on the Move ?
On Wednesday, our school band took up an invitation from St. Finnachta’s NS in Sixmilebridge to play a collaborative concert in their brand new school building. Each school performed their own pieces and tunes, and then we played some favourites together.
After the musical renditions, we played in their schoolyard for a while and had our lunch. On the way back to school we stopped in the wonderful O’Regan Park in Newmarket to have some fun.
It was a lovely day out although some pupils were disappointed to discover that the bridge in Sixmilebridge is not six miles long!
