Fun Day – June 7th, 2019
Our annual Fun Day at Ennis NS took place on Friday, June 7th this year bringing our action-packed Health Promoting Schools Week to a close. Pupils were busy all day taking part in a wide variety of fun activities from yard games to field games, from bouncing castles to face painting, from dance workshops to fitness training. There was no competitive element to the day – it was simply a day for all to enjoy. The rain did arrive for a while so the planned change of clothes came in handy. But the sun, and the ice-cream van, came along too so all was well in the end.
A huge Thank You to all our wonderful parents who came along to help make the day such a success. Credit also is due to Ms. Marren and Mr. Enright who organised everything so effectively. It was a great team effort by all the staff, parents and friends of Ennis NS and it definitely paid off. Here’s to Fun Day 2020 !
