Crafty Crew in full swing ?

The Crafty Crew was set up last year by Ms. Harding and since then they have been busy creating colourful artworks in knitting, crochet and other media to brighten up our school.
This year they have branched out even further and have been successful in competitions. The three 5th classes fought it out in a yarn-bombing contest last month which was judged by award-winning milliner Margaret O’Connor. Ms. Browne’s class were the winners on this occasion.
This month two pupils from Ms. Harding’s own 3rd class were successful in the Design a Recyclable Cup competition run by Cup Print. Hanna and Ferdia received their awards during the week.
The Crafty Crew are now focusing on Christmas and would like to invite children, parents and friends to knit or crochet  a 6 inch / 15 cms square for our patchwork Christmas tree. Each square should have some green in it. Squares can be dropped into the school to Ms. Harding.
