Badminton Ireland Outing
On Wednesday a group of badminton players from our school travelled to Dublin to take part in the Badminton Ireland Primary Schools competition. This was the first time we competed in this and so was a new initiative for our school.
It was a long day for everyone- from 6am to 9pm – but the pupils thoroughly enjoyed it, experiencing the full range of results throughout the day – wins, losses and draws. It was interesting to see other schools in action too. Thank you to Mr. Gary Walsh, Ms. Sinéad Murphy and Mr. Seán Flanagan who accompanied the children on their day out and to coach Darryl Eade.
