School Band Spectacular at Shannon Airport
Today marked a memorable occasion as our talented young musicians took part in a spectacular School Band event at Shannon Airport Departures Hall. Pupils from Ennis NS were joined by fellow performers from Sixmilebridge NS, Knockanean NS and Milford NS for a beautiful celebration of Irish music.
Each school band performed a selection of pieces, showcasing the skill, dedication and enthusiasm of the children. The event concluded on a high note with a combined performance of Ireland’s Call, bringing together all four bands.
A large audience of parents, grandparents and visitors gathered to enjoy the performances and were entertained and amazed by the talent on display. This was a unique venue for such a special event.
A huge thank you to the staff in each of the four schools who work so hard to promote Irish music and made this event possible. We are also very grateful to Shannon Airport for hosting us.
It was a fantastic day for everyone involved and one that will stay with the children for years to come.
