School Band Christmas Concert

On Thursday, December 14th, our band played a Christmas recital in the halla to an audience of parents and school mates. The band looked great and sounded even better. Instruments included violins, concertinas, tin whistles, guitars, ukulele, djembes, trumpet and flute. All classes from 3rd to 6th are represented in our 60-strong band.

Members of the choir were invited to come up out of the audience and sing along with the band for the last few numbers. This resulted in a very lively, impromptu rendition of Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolph, and Jingle Bells to finish off the concert.
