ENS Parents’ Association Meeting Minutes
Date: Wednesday, 12th of Feb, 2026
Time: 7:30pm

Flag Day:
● Buckets labelled and prepared: permits, high-vis vest, stickers, homework passes are
inside
● Volunteering slots are almost full
○ To note for following years, having the flag day around the mid term break
might mean people are away on holidays and are unavailable to volunteer.
○ WhatsApp group to be set up on Thursday/Friday before the flagday.
6th Class:
● 6th class jumpers are underway, notice has been sent out that the final payment is due.
● Period products available in the bathroom have been replenished courtesy of the PA.
Bingo:
● Permit is obtained for 24th April
● Bingo prices will be decided and prices included in notices prior to the event.
● First draft of jobs list was discussed and circulated
● Machine rental to go ahead
● Prize planning discussion of which businesses to approach and how to ensure that it’s
not always the same businesses being approached. Consider including school tour
suppliers in the list of businesses.
○ Review how many prizes will be needed and plan in advance before planning
how many/which businesses to approach.
Communion:
● Check if we have enough aprons for the kids and buy more if needed
● Photographer is booked
● Balloons need to be ordered in advance
● Gift bags TBD
● Feedback from last year
○ Water was freely available last year and had good feedback
○ Bookmarks in the gift bags were well received.
● Note on Volunteers: call goes out to 3rd class parents for volunteer support closer to
the event
Graduation:
● Note on Volunteers: call goes out to 5th class parents for volunteer support closer to
the event.
● Decision to be made on yearbook by next meeting.
AOB:
● Communication to PA from parents that the painted marks on the public walking path
up to the school is faded. PA to write to the council and/or councillors to highlight
the issue but this is outside the direct control of the PA and School.
