Ennis NS Parents’ Association Minutes of meeting held 30th March 2017
Dr. Maureen Griffin Talk: The committee met with Dr. Maureen Griffin who is a Forensic Psychologist that gives talks on issues such as social networking, online gaming, cyber-bullying and mobile phone safety. Dr. Griffin is extremly popular and difficult to book as she is so much in demand by schools all around Ireland. The committee are hoping to book her for June this year to give a talk to the students and parents (separately).
Confirmation Reception: Thank you to all who contributed to the Confirmation Reception, whether you donated your time or some baked goods it was very much appreciated. The cost of the reception was €215.61.
Easter Quiz: This year in lieu of a bingo night we are holding a second quiz night. Wednesday 5th April, 7:30 in the halla. Spot prizes of Easter Eggs and Homework passes will be available to win!
6th Class Hoodies: A design was chosen by the students, a choice of 4 colours will be offered. Committee members will work towards finalising the order within the next few weeks.
County Photos: A query went in to County photos regarding the Class of 2017 Confirmation photo with the Bishop. The photo is now available – all proofs are being delivered to the school tomorrow and available to purchase.
Wear Green to School Day: Netted €400.80
