Have Your Say – Ennis Local Transport Plan Public Consultation

We would like to bring to your attention an important opportunity to have your voice heard on the future of transport and travel in Ennis. The public consultation for the Ennis Local Transport Plan (LTP) is currently open and will close on Friday, 27th June.
The Ennis LTP is a long-term plan that will guide transport developments in the town over the next 15 years and beyond. It will play a key role in shaping future decisions around traffic flow, pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, public transport, and road safety – all of which impact our school community.
Given the traffic related concerns frequently raised by parents, this is a valuable opportunity to highlight areas where improvements are needed for the safety and wellbeing of children travelling to and from Ennis National School.
We encourage parents, guardians, and the wider school community to review the plan and consider making a submission. All feedback will help inform the final version of the plan.
A user-friendly, interactive map tool called “Place Changers” is available on the Clare County Council’s website which allows you to drop pins and comment on specific areas of concern.
