Over the past 16 years, I have developed a French learning programme that helps pupils build confidence and proficiency through fun and interactive activities. Alongside this, I have designed a French Learning Pack (FLP), which includes a digital companion to help pupils practise and reinforce what they learn in class in a playful and effective way. This blend of classroom interaction and short, guided home practice (around 5 minutes a day) provides an excellent foundation for secondary school, with a strong focus on listening and speaking skills at primary level.

The classes will take place at Ennis National School after school, in one of the 5th class classrooms. The second term will run from straight after the Christmas holidays until Easter. The fees for the term are €140, and full payment is due by Friday, 16/01/2026.

About the Teacher:

I am a native French speaker and have been teaching French since 2009, initially as part of the Modern Languages in Primary Schools Initiative (MLPSI) and as an extracurricular activity since 2012. My qualifications include a Master’s in ICT, certification for teaching French as a Foreign Language (Alliance Française FFL) and for Montessori, and a Professional Master of Education (NUIG). I am currently involved in the Languages Connect programme for Primary Schools and am pursuing a Higher Diploma in Spanish for Post Primary Teachers at UCC. I am passionate about both teaching and learning languages!
