Féile Fichille Chess Tournament at Ennis NS

Ennis NS was delighted to host the Féile Fichille Chess Tournament this Tuesday, welcoming pupils from a number of Clare schools for a fantastic day of competition and fun.

The tournament brought together young chess enthusiasts of all levels, each demonstrating great concentration and strategic thinking throughout the day. Games were played in a positive and respectful atmosphere, with pupils showing both determination and fairness at every board.

Our visitors enjoyed the opportunity to meet and compete with players from other schools, making new friends while developing their chess skills. The standard of play was exceptionally high, and all participants should be very proud of their efforts.

A sincere thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the event, ensuring the day was such a success. We are also grateful to the accompanying staff who contributed to the organisation of a very successful event with almost 100 pupils playing.
