Ennis National School Pupils Share Their Thoughts on Climate Change

Pupils from Ennis National School have created a short video to share their thoughts, hopes, and concerns about climate change. Their reflections highlight the importance of protecting our planet and the role that young people can play in shaping a more sustainable future.
This video will be shown at the PROTECT Project meeting in the Clare County Council Chamber on Wednesday, where schools and educational partners from across Europe will gather to discuss climate education and action.
The PROTECT Project is an Erasmus+ initiative bringing together schools from Ireland, Portugal, Norway, Croatia, and Serbia. The project aims to empower teachers and students to take meaningful climate action through innovation, collaboration, and community engagement.
By taking part in PROTECT, Ennis National School is proud to give pupils a voice in the global conversation on climate change—encouraging them to think critically, act responsibly, and lead with compassion for our shared environment.
