Ennis National School Featured on RTÉ News2Day

On Tuesday, 26th May, Ennis National School was delighted to welcome RTÉ Mid-West Correspondent Petula Martyn and the RTÉ News2Day team to our school.

The visit highlighted the wonderful creativity and artistic talents of our pupils, whose artwork has turned the school into a vibrant gallery space. Inspired by famous artists including Roy Lichtenstein and Jim Fitzpatrick, the children explored a wide range of artistic styles, colours and techniques through their paintings and displays.

The art work on display features pop-art pieces, Celtic-inspired designs, portraits of President Catherine Connolly and former President Michael D. Higgins, and artwork celebrating St. Brigid and the unique design of our school building.

A special word of thanks must go to Ms. Ciara Harding for her work with the pupils throughout this project. Her creativity, encouragement and dedication helped inspire the children to produce such imaginative and high-quality artwork.

We are very proud of all the pupils and staff involved in creating such a colourful and inspiring exhibition.
