Celebrating Our All-Ireland Badminton Champions
There was a wonderful atmosphere in the school hall today as the entire school gathered to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our badminton teams in the All-Ireland Primary Schools Badminton Finals.
Our girls’ team were presented with their bronze medals, while our boys’ team proudly received their gold medals after becoming All-Ireland Champions. Each player was individually introduced and presented to the school community, with huge applause from pupils and staff in recognition of their hard work and sporting success.
Following the presentations, the players treated the audience to a series of demonstration exhibition games, showcasing their impressive badminton skills. The rallies, quick reactions and powerful shots brought great excitement to the hall, with pupils cheering enthusiastically throughout.
We are incredibly proud of both teams for representing our school so well at national level.
