All-Ireland Success for Ennis NS Badminton Teams!

On March 4th, the Ennis NS Girls and Boys badminton teams proudly represented our school at the All-Ireland Primary Schools Finals in Baldoyle Badminton Centre. Both teams displayed incredible courage, skill and determination throughout a fantastic day of badminton, battling fiercely against top opposition from across the country.

The girls were outstanding in the group stages, going unbeaten and showing superb teamwork and resilience. They narrowly secured their place in the semi-final with a thrilling 15–14 tie-break victory in their quarter-final — a match that had everyone on the edge of their seats! They continued to fight bravely in the semi-final, coming up just three points short. All-Ireland Semi-Finalists — a phenomenal achievement!

Our Boys Team The boys matched that determination, also going unbeaten in their group stages. They carried their winning momentum all the way to the final and, in a nail-biting showdown, claimed gold with an incredible scoreline of 21–20, 21–20!

All-Ireland Primary Schools Champions 2026! A huge congratulations to both teams for their hard work, commitment and energetic performances — not just on finals day, but throughout the entire year.
