AGM of the Parents’ Association
The Parents’ Association (PA) held its Annual General Meeting at the school yesterday evening, 11th September 2025, in the staffroom. It was wonderful to see so many new faces—thank you to everyone who attended.
At the meeting, the outgoing officers presented comprehensive reports on the work of the Association over the past year. Notable achievements included:

Progress on key priorities, including improved communication with the parent body.

Publication of the ‘Welcome Pack‘ for all new parents to Ennis NS.

The successful organisation of the annual Book Fair.
A particularly valuable development this year was the creation of a handover pack for the incoming Parents’ Association Committee. This resource provides a detailed overview of activities, contacts, reviews, learnings, and survey outcomes, ensuring continuity and strong foundations for the new committee.
Five committee members have finished their term and are stepping down, and we’re happy to welcome two new members to the team. There is still space for more parents or guardians to join the committee. It’s a great opportunity to work together with a friendly and committed team to help enhance the school experience for all our children.
If you’d prefer a more flexible way to get involved, we also have an ENS Helpers WhatsApp group. This group is for parents who would like to help with small, one-off tasks throughout the year.

During the evening, many kind words were exchanged between the PA committee and the school administration. Appreciation was shared for the strong teamwork, leadership, and cooperation experienced over the past year, on top of the hours of time and energy each committee member and parent volunteer has given. These efforts make the ENS Parents’ Association an admired and valued part of our school community.
We are excited to move forward with the new members of the committee and look forward to the ideas and enthusiasm they will bring in the year ahead.
