Team Hope’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal
Dear Parents and Guardians
Team Hope’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal is an annual campaign that delivers gifts straight into the hands of children affected by poverty. Often these shoebox gifts are the only gift that a child will receive at Christmas.
To get involved all you have to do is:
1. Wrap your regular sized shoebox in snazzy wrapping paper. Please wrap the box and lid separately so it can be easily opened.
2. Decide who your gift is for, a girl or boy aged between 2 – 14. Labels are available at the school reception or you can print your own at home (please see attached)– tick the age group and stick it on the top of your shoebox lid.
3. Fill your box with lovely gifts using items from the 4 W’s list below. Please don’t include anything on the ‘what not to include’ list or something you would not be happy to receive yourself.
4. Don’t forget to add €6 to help get your box to a child. You can donate online or can place the €6 in an envelope on top of your gifts inside the box.

5. Hold the box together with a large elastic band. Please don’t seal it with tape as each box has to be checked for custom purposes. Get your boxes to the school by
Friday the 13th of November
Thank you!
