Finding My Voice – A Third Class Movie
Finding My Voice
Created by 3rd Class, Ennis National School
Mary is a ten-year-old girl who feels different from everyone around her. Quiet and withdrawn, she struggles to find her place at school. While friendships blossom around her, Mary often finds herself alone. Some children tease her, others overlook her, and each day she feels more isolated and invisible.
As the hurt and frustration build, the weight of being misunderstood becomes too much to bear. But Mary is not weak, and she is not willing to accept the story others have written for her. Deep inside, she knows she has value, talent, and a voice that deserves to be heard.
When everything reaches breaking point, Mary finds the courage to stand up for herself and challenge the narrative that has defined her. In doing so, she discovers her own strength and begins to see herself as she truly is.
Finding My Voice is a powerful story about resilience, self-belief, and the importance of kindness. It reminds us that every child has something special to offer and that finding the courage to be yourself can change everything.
