ENS Parents’ Association Meeting Minutes
Date: Thursday, 19th of March, 2026

Fun Day:
Date set to 18th June – can be pushed to 19th if weather is a problem
Ice Cream truck date is currently set for 29th June – not on Fun Day itself
Breakthrough Dance: Laura Jane is set to come between 9am and 1pm.
Champion Castles:
● Bouncy Castles:
○ Location: at the back beside the 1st-3rd classes play yard.
○ Hire company liability cover to be requested.
○ Note: that payment will likely be cash on the day.
○ John to be showed where we will need the power for this in the week before
Fun Day
● Crazy golf:
○ Went well 2 years ago, and it’s available on our dates.
FunDay Actions:
● Bouncy Castle: order one of the following (order of preference) and ask about
insurance. Thriller New Gen / Eliminator / Army – Jenny
● Book Crazy Golf – Jenny
● Giant Connect 4 – Eileen to contact friend
● Order Tattoos – Claire
● Confirm with Laura Jane to go ahead with dance booking – Jenny
● Confirm Ice Cream – Jenny
● Volunteers from parent body – PA to organise closer to the time
6th Class Celebrations:
● Thanks to Lorna and Eileen for their work gathering information and ordering the
hoodies.
● Class of 2026 grad arm bands have been ordered.
● Sixth class jumpers still in progress with Boru and Committee continues to urgently follow-up to deliver to sixth class.’
Confirmation:
● County Photos is confirmed to be attending the Confirmation at the Cathedral and
● Proofs to be dropped to 6th class teachers for families to order
Bingo:
● Date set for Friday, 24th April
● Sign up sheet circulated for jobs/Bingo tasks
● Book prices will be similar to last year.
● Tuck shop: include pens for anyone who needs them. Encourage people to bring
their own.
● Thank you for Prize donations:
○ Display of donor logos/names – Mariusz to ask Marcin
○ Print sheets with the names/logos to be distributed on the tables – TBD closer
to the time
○ Thank you cards directly to donors – TBD closer to the time
● Confirmed donors:
○ AquaDome
○ Turoe (Brian Troy has vouchers)
○ The Planet
○ Breakthrough Dance.
● Proposal accepted to meet donor prizes from confirmed donors up to €75 from PA
funds
● Prizes to consist of:
○ Total of 16 line prizes (12 planned with 4 spares)
○ Total of 8 full house prizes (6 planned and 2 spares)
○ With 3 Raffle prizes of hampers::
■ Arts & Crafts
■ Compendium of Games
■ Swimming
● Other Prize/donor ideas: Yoto / Stanley / Ennis bookshop
● Eileen will send a Social Media post the week of 23rd March to let the parent body
know to plan ahead for the bingo night.
First Holy Communion Reception:
● Balloons will need to be ordered
● Baker Ross bookmarks – buy sample pack to check quality
