Henri Matisse Collage Art

Senior Infants are learning about the artist Henri Matisse. We looked at how his early paintings were full of bright, exciting colours and how his style was very different from most artists at the time.
We talked about collage and abstract art, and how a picture doesn’t always have to look like a landscape or a real-life object. We loved experimenting with bold colours and creating our own vibrant pieces!
