Clare Primary Schools’ Badminton

Ennis National School was represented in the Clare Primary Schools’ Badminton Competitions by two girls and two boys teams. The competition was held on Wednesday 21st January in Gurteen Hall and organised by Clare Badminton. There was four courts in use and play continued throughout the day with each playing having at least four competitive games. Our girls and boys both qualified for their respective finals and emerged victorious after very close games. They have now qualified to play in the Munster Badminton Competitions and we wish them continued success. Many thanks to the staff who assist with badminton and who encourage so many pupils to play badminton at lunchtime and after school.
