Banksy

Banksy

Banksy is a famous street artist from England. No one knows his real name because he likes to stay anonymous. Banksy creates his art in public places like walls and buildings, so everyone can see it, not just people in galleries.

Banksy’s art often has a message. He uses simple images and stencils to make people think about fairness, rules, and how people are treated in society. Many of his artworks are political, which means they share opinions about things that affect people’s lives.

We were inspired by Banksy because he uses art to speak up about what he thinks is unfair. Our artwork is also political. It focuses on the unfairness of girls having to wear skorts for sport when they may not be comfortable or able to play freely.

Our artwork is called “No Skort for Sport.” We used strong images and clear messages, just like Banksy, to show that everyone should feel comfortable and equal when taking part in sport.

Our artwork shows that art can be used as a powerful voice to stand up for fairness and change.
