It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

There’s a lovely festive buzz around Ennis National School as the children begin practicing for their Christmas shows and decorations start to brighten our classrooms and corridors.

A huge thank you to the parents who spent Saturday evening decorating the school entrance with beautiful Christmas lights — it’s a magical welcome for everyone arriving at the school.

We were also delighted to receive a very special gift from the recent Ennis Tidy Towns ‘Crafternoon’ event: a Christmas tree decorated entirely with handmade ornaments created from recycled materials. This thoughtful and creative donation has added something unique to our school’s festive display.

Later today, our traditional Christmas crib will take its place of honour in the school foyer, adding to the sense of joy and anticipation as we move into this very special time of year.
