Board of Management Meeting of 6th October 2025

The Board of Management of Ennis National School held its first meeting of the new school year on October 6th.

Key items discussed included school finances, correspondence and ongoing planning for the continued development of school facilities. The Board formally adopted the Department of Education’s revised Enrolment Policy and Wellbeing/SPHE Policy.

In line with the BOM Strategic Plan 2023–2027 and the school’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the Board reviewed recent energy consumption reports and discussed procurement and contracts for energy-saving equipment. The procurement and provision of School Meals was also reviewed.
